Diese Stadt ist nicht sehr schön, aber liegt an einem riesigen Fjord. Start der Carretera Austral. Für ein paar Tage war ich hier und habe Touren in die Umgebung gemacht.
This city is not very beautiful and is located on a large fjord. Begin of the Carretera Austral. I stayed here for a few days and did tours in the area.
In this old wooden houses at the Busterminal are handicrafts sold. I bought some things made out of alpaca. This wool is softer than sheep's wool and is warming as good as merino wool.
In diesen alten Holzhäusern am Busterminal wird Kunsthanwerk verkauft. Ich habe mir einige Sachen aus Alpaka gekauft. Diese Wolle ist weicher als Schafswolle und wärmt so gut wie Merinowolle.

Der größere Markt ist am Hafen und ist landesweit bekannt. Sehr gerne hätte ich mehr Alpaka Sachen gekauft, aber wie soll ich alles nur transportieren ?
Most of the market is at the port and is known nationwide. I would like to buy more alpaca , but I don't know how to transport it.

...... 1247km bis Villa o' Higgins !!!
Auf meine alten Tage bin ich noch Backpacker geworden. Den Koffer wollte ich nicht mitschleppen, der blieb in Valparaiso. Mit den zwei Rucksäcken hatte ich noch genug zu tragen, etwa 15kg. Für die 1247km habe ich etwa einen Monat gebraucht. Auf dem Weg habe ich mir auch Ruhetage gegönnt, oder die phantastischen Naturschönheiten besichtigt.

I didn't want to lug the suitcase with me, it stayed in Valparaiso. With the two backpacks I still had enough to carry, about 15kg. For the 1247km I needed about a month. On the way I allowed myself rest days and visited the fantastic natural beauties on the way.
